Interconnectivity and interdependence are the themes here. One tree is not alone; it feeds all the plants around it, it is not only beautiful and unique but an important part of the biodiversity of the forest. It is also a metaphor for humanity. This giant painting is quite stunning when you first see it in a room because the colors are bright and the shapes very stylized. I love the patterns and hidden pieces of the biology, like a bee and a hive, insects, and rocks. It is acrylic on a heavy duty gallery wrapped canvas which needs no frame. Gorgeous for an office or over a couch.
